Adidas Campus Vulc ‘Chewy’

Adidas skateboarder Chewy Canon has earned his stripes! After skating for Adidas for some time, Pro rider Chewy has made his mark on the brand with his colour-way of the Campus Vulc’s.


With a black suede upper and yellow heels, 3 leather white stripes and sockliners the Chewy Campus Vulc rides a gum vulc sole making them a show stopper in skate shoes, they really do look the part (in my eyes) no skate shoe is compete without a gum sole!

The Vulcanized sole construction, geo fit ankle collar and uprated inner sole makes these skate shoes comfortable and durable for all those long days catching clips.

Official release will be on 29th September with a launch party in Liverpool. You can cop these from retailers like NOTE Skate Shop in Manchester or if your not local, off their website www.noteshop.co.uk

A Glowing Review

I love it when there’s an amazing WMNS Air Max 1 release, usually all the guys get slightly jealous of our smaller sized, slightly sexier kicks and this one makes me feel exceptionally happy!

 Available from Leicester based Wellgosh in a full size run (from UK3 and up), these are the perfect shoes to kick start your Summer with. They may look a little bright if you’re reading this early in the morning with tired eyes, but trust me, with a plain or subtle outfit, the vibrant blue and bright yellow work perfectly with the fresh white to tone down what could be a totally garish sneaker.

Another Size? Exclusive!

We love a Size? Exclusive, especially when it’s a version of a silhouette we often buy. This one is no exception.

Nike Air Max Light Fall 2012 Preview – Size? Exclusive

Both pairs are set to release some time this Autumn and are both amazing in their own right.

However, the grey/bordeaux colourway is definitely a favourite of mine. The deep red colour set against that luxurious looking grey suede all up next to the bright white mesh, makes this shoe the perfect finish to any outfit. That bordeaux red definitely conjures up images of an Autumn scene in my mind!
These won’t release in my size, but I’m sure some of you will be lucky enough to get your hands on them! We’ll keep you posted with updates.

Nike X Liberty Blazer

It’s hard for me to admit, but I have definitely started to let myself become much more of a girl when it comes to choosing sneakers and these have definitely caught me out. We are treated once again, to a beautiful collaboration from Nike and Liberty, this time with the classic Nike Blazer in an intricately detailed Yellow Liberty Print. I can’t believe I am saying this, but they are just so PRETTY.

These stylish Blazers are dressed in Lagos Laurel Liberty Print, an updated take on the usually psychedelic paisley prints which have always played a part in the Liberty brand. Alongside the off-white vintage midsole, with white swoosh and flat laces, these treads feature a tan leather back tab, side sections and tongue branding to finish off the classy look.

Good news for most feet, these treasures are available in a UK 3 – 9, but be quick, because as always these will be snapped up and will not be around for long!

UPDATE!! – Taste of the Tropics

You may remember the post I did a couple of months pack on these lusciously tropical Air Max 1s, well I’m pleased to announce that they are now available to pre-order from Crooked Tongues here. These release/ship in May and start from a 3 so are perfect for any little soles out there looking for a bright and tasty summer shoe. Even the colourway description sounds opulent: Melon-Crush/Hot-Punch/White/Yellow-Diamond.

The contrast in materials between the suede and canvas upper looks pretty cool, and I’m glad that the toe-box is mesh as it will clean up much better than if it were canvas!

Easter Feet

Every year around Easter time, Nike release an AM1 in a colourway perfect for Spring. Last year it was the WMNS Filament Green/Lemon Frost which I am lucky enough to own, in 2012, it’s these.

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Julep/Liquid Lime/Coast’

With a perfect blend of pastel yellow, lime and the clear sky blue, these Air Max 1′s will look amazing once the sun is shining and we’re well on our way towards the Summer months.
I don’t know what it is about this tone of yellow mixed with the ‘liquid lime’ that really makes me smile, but paired with a light denim jean or pair of shorts, it adds just the right burst of colour to any relatively plain outfit.

Taste of the Tropics

Worrrrrrd up!

Freshly squeezed for Summer 2012 are these vivacious tropical Air Max 1s.

This mesh, canvas and nubuck combo comes in a jaw-droppin’ colourway that will be a real head turner this summer. The peach and pink canvas is really set off by the pale yellow nubuck accents and eyelets, and the interaction between materials gives this shoe a lucious texture.

Although they may be a little bright for some palettes, I think these are a real stand out summer shoe and I know dozens of little feet that will be lusting after these beauties come release day.

No release date as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted when we hear the word.

February is going to be a busy months for Jordan heads! With the Retro IV White/Grey Cements and the Retro X White/Royal Blue/Stealth Greys both dropping within 7 days of each other, but first up will be these new Grey “Bordeaux”-style Jordan Spiz’ikes!

Some of you may have seen via twitter/sneaker news feeds that Barack Obama was presented with his very own custom pair by Spike Lee himself a few weeks ago! They came in his very own custom, wood Jordan box with the presidential seal engraved on. White House style! Check the photo below.

So what do you think? Apparently the sneaker community has been a bit torn over these Spiz’ikes adopting the ‘Bordeaux’ name, when they clearly are a bit lighter than Bordeaux, but if it’s good enough for Mr White House, it’s good enough for Sneaker Fiends!

I absolutely adore these kicks. The colour scheme alone won me over instantly. With a few shades of Greys/Yellow/Blue/Red & Green as if we couldn’t get enough of the cement/elephant print releases last year, they smart bots at Jordan brand really know what we want – a subtle cement print round the toe of the sneaker makes these babies to die for. They give me a very ‘primary’ feeling, like I could wear them with anything!

And now, for the best news….my Footlocker sources tell me they will be stocking little soles! WOOHOO! I can only confirm that the Manchester Market Street Footlocker will be stocking GS sizes, but Footlocker usually release a limited amount of GS sizes dotted around their UK stores, so make sure you get down to your local early on Saturday 4th Febuary!

All I Want For Christmas is a Pair of Nike Air Huaraches!

While it seems the entire trainer blogosphere is on the quest to find a pair of Air Jordan Concords, what I’m more concerned about is why do guys get all the best colourways? Check these Air Max 90s new to size?

White/Volt/Grey

White/Navy/Yellow

I’m especially feeling the synthetic suede panelling on both of these babies, which helps them feel a bit more fitting for these cold Winter months- although saying that, I would wear these kicks any time of the year if they were available in my size (as long as it wasn’t raining- of course).

The Volt accent on the first pair also reminds me of the Nike Air Huaraches I have hidden away in my cupboard somewhere- too mistreated to see the light of day, but too precious to throw away (sob).

Although I love these 90s.. All I want for Christmas is a pair of Nike Air Huaraches!
