Prints Prints Prints

It’s definitely apparent that I have a ‘thing’ for animal prints, aztec prints, prints in general.. I love prints.

These Blazers are making me drool all over my keyboard..

Nike Blazer Mid ‘Leopard’

There’s something about a Swoosh matching the base colour of the upper of a shoe, perfectly, that makes me smile.. sort of the same as black on black heel branding.. (Yes, I’m easily pleased and a bit weird).
This shoe could potentially be garish, over the top and a little bit tacky.. However, these are the complete opposite.
All finished off with that white vulc sole that we know and love, this Blazer release has caught my eye and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that a small pair surface somehow!

A Glowing Review

I love it when there’s an amazing WMNS Air Max 1 release, usually all the guys get slightly jealous of our smaller sized, slightly sexier kicks and this one makes me feel exceptionally happy!

Nike WMNS Air Max 1 ‘White/Blue Glow’
Available from Leicester based Wellgosh in a full size run (from UK3 and up), these are the perfect shoes to kick start your Summer with. They may look a little bright if you’re reading this early in the morning with tired eyes, but trust me, with a plain or subtle outfit, the vibrant blue and bright yellow work perfectly with the fresh white to tone down what could be a totally garish sneaker.

I WANT THESE!

Don’t Need A Degree For These

When I see block colouring on a silhouette that I love, I’m instantly drawn in and these Air Max 1′s are no exception.

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Obsidian / University Red’

With its obsidian suede and mesh upper and an added hit of white with the Swoosh, the body of these kicks are perfect for toning down a bright outfit or adding some texture to your daily get-up.
What totally does it for me with this release is the red sole.. now if you hadn’t noticed already, I’ve got a thing for red soles. It’s the feeling that even the people behind you can feel the heat on your feet, that makes me smile! This shoe is understated but packs a massive punch and that’s the kind of footwear I like.
We’ll keep you updated with release dates, so keep it Big Eyes!

Storm Camo

This isn’t a new camo print just a new WMNS AM90 for us ladies!
Nike WMNS Air Max 90 ‘Stormblue/Stormblue-Jersey Gold’
So I’ll begin with the obvious, an all leather ‘stormblue’ upper which is perfect for winter as it’s wipe clean and will stand out in this snowy weather! The ‘jersey gold’ sole and branding add a slight feminine touch to an otherwise unisex colourway. But this isn’t all that’s special about this WMNS release..
These Air Max 90′s feature a snakeskin camo ankle collar and Swoosh which add texture and something a little bit different to this shoe. I must admit, there is something smurf-like about this 90 but I like it! I know I want to see it up close and definitely try before I buy.. but that’s just because the colour is so far from something I’d normally go for.. however.. cop while you can as I don’t think these will be in stock for long!

Take Shelta..

No that’s not a typo, it’s where the next pair of kicks I’m going to blog about are available..
I’ve always said I love a simple colourway on a classic silhouette like the Air Max 90 and there’s no change with this release.

Nike Air Max 90 ‘Black/White/Neutral Grey/Midnight Fog’
When an AM90 has a black leather upper, it always makes it look sleek (just my opinion though) but put that against the midnight fog accent, neutral grey mudguard and the white branding, inserts, Swoosh and sock liner, this AM90 is perfect already. However it doesn’t end there, the black suede overlay adds a whole new texture to the shoe making it stand out in the crowd with no trouble at all.

A sneaker that can be worn from day to night, this is a must buy for anyone with feet sized UK6.5 and up!

Blazin’ Beasts!

Nike Blazer Mid VT – Anthracite

Another “Tech” update, this time from Nike’s continuously dope VacTech collection. We’ve already seen VT versions of the Air Force 1, Dunk High and Air Max 90 but this Blazer update has got to be my favourite.

The embossed Swoosh and suede material keeps the shoe looking really neat and sophisticated. I absolutely love this dark, mysterious Anthracite colour. The fresh white sole contrasts with it perfectly and the flashes of orange on the tongue label and bottom of the shoe subtly brighten up this beast.

You Won’t Recall These!

I’m a massive fan of SB Blazers, so comfortable, always look sleek and streamlined and never too much going on for me to handle!

Check these beasts out..

Nike SB Blazer Low ‘Black/Blue Recall’

I love the black suede upper. There’s something satisfying about SB Blazers when the upper is all black, it’s such a smooth silhouette, the black suede just accentuates that.

The branding, outsole and Swoosh come in the ‘blue recall’ which isn’t too bright to take away from the dark upper, but isn’t too dull that it blends in. Definitely a Summer sneaker, that blue Swoosh will shine once hit with the sunlight (if the weather stays this good!).

With the white midsole we are all so used to seeing, the sneaker is finished off with a matching blue outsole to give people something to look at when they’re walking behind you!

Watch Out For That Glacier!!

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 ‘Neutral Grey/Glacier Blue’

Wohoo! An AM90 for us sneaker-ettes!
I’ve been looking for a pair of grey 90s for so long, but they’ve always looked too boyish on me. We’re seeing the neutral grey upper appearing quite a lot recently and I love it!

The subtle leather and mesh upper is brought to life by the Glacier Blue inserts found in the Swoosh, tongue branding and lower lace holders. This pale blue fully makes me think of springtime and the simple colourway will go with any outfit!

I’ll definitely be rocking these this spring, probably with denim shorts and a white tee (my staple ‘warm weather’ outfit!)
We’ll keep you updated on release dates and stockists.

Honey Honey

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Honeycomb/Blue Spark’.

Check out these beasts!
2011 really is the year for the Air Max lover!!
How tasty does the honeycomb yellow felt and canvas upper look, just bright enough for a sunny summer’s day!

The blue spark outsole adds something massive to this sneaker, making it not just your every day staple shoe, these are for special occasions! Not to be trashed!!
The white Swoosh and midsole bring this AM1 together perfectly, muting the shoe a tiny bit and bridging the gap between the bright blue and warm yellow, which would usually clash!
These are seriously fresh, I wish they were available in small sizes, but unlucky for us sneaker-ettes, they’re not!

AM Light At The End Of The Titolo Tunnel

On my weekly search through the internet for new sneaker releases, I came across these babies on Titolo.
Nike Air Max Light ‘Dark Shadow/Blue Sapphire’

Nothing too over the top, this AM Light is a perfect staple sneaker for any collection.
The hints of blue sapphire and purple running through this shoe really bring the various elements together. Without these tiny additions, this sneaker would appear quite boring and insignificant, not these, they stand out in the crowd with ease!
The muted dark shadow and black against the bright white Swoosh make this sneaker appear seriously smart and yet the perfect everyday shoe.

Available at Titolo for €142.
