JD Sports are back with another exclusive Nike release.. this time, paying homage to my home city, the place I love more than (most) other cities in the world… LONDON (for the Olympics)!
Nike Air Max 90 ‘London’
With a similar upper to the well loved ‘Infrared’ Air Max 90, only with a slightly deeper red, this release running from a UK6 up (which sucks for the smaller footed sneaker fiend like me) is made into something ridiculously special by the see through sole.. This isn’t just any see through sole, underneath it, is a map of the London underground. I’m literally drooling over this release and sitting here feeling seriously gutted I won’t be able to pick up a pair.
Vans seems to be the theme for me over the last few weeks…. just thought I’d share with you lovely little soles.
I love my Big Eyes Little Soles phone case, but thought I’d give her a rest for a while and let this bad boy take over for a bit, behold, the Van Waffle iPhone Case! Featuring the classic waffle sole replica on the back, the smooth white rubber sole around the edge, red heel-tag replica on the side, even down to the toe-cap replica on the top giving this case the edge to make it feel like a mini sneaker in your hand!
Sold out most places as they were made in limited numbers, so it may be hard to get hold of one at the moment but I have heard they might be coming back into stock end of August / beginning of September!
Vans La Costa ‘Waffle’ Flip Flop
Seems as its supposed to be summer, I thought I’d invest in some flip flops and after seeing my nugget Hannah Whitley come back from Kite Surfing in Maui, Hawaii with these, I just had to hunt me a pair down! I absolutely hate wearing girly shoes, or flip flops really but you gota do what you gota do when its hot.
I was having no luck finding a pair of the Jordan III slides in my size (at a reasonable price) so these were defiantly the next best option for me. I wanted something supportive but comfortable. These fit the bill perfectly (and they match my new iPhone case) with the classic Vans rubber waffle sole, comfortable velvet like lining on the top with soft, fabric for the thongs rather than the angin’ plastic you usually get that rips your toes up.
I ended up buying a couple of pairs to make sure I got the right size so you can find a pair on our shop for sale UK 5-6!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll often see me uploading pics of a pair of AM1′s I picked up 2 years ago which have club purple panels on them. They literally are my staple Summer shoe and I’m fully amazed that they still look as fresh as the day I bought them.
Anyway, when I saw this women’s release, my jaw dropped and I drooled everywhere. I NEED TO GET MY HANDS ON THESE!
Nike WMNS Air Max Correlate White/Club Purple-Turquoise Blue-Dark Grey
Made from a mixture of Air Max silhouettes, the Correlate is just the right blend of everything I love! The dark grey branding and Swoosh let the club purple and turquoise shine but aren’t lost when perfectly placed next to the white mesh and rubber. A classic colourway on a timeless silhouette.. I’m itching to buy these.
With the Liberty x Nike releases recently, we’ve been seeing floral patterns everywhere! I’ve never been a fan of anything flowery but when I picked up the purple Liberty x Nike AM1s last month, I was a very happy little person!
Anyway, back to it, check these bad boys out!
Nike WMNS Air Max 1 ND ‘Sport Red/ Sail- Sail’
Nike WMNS Air Max 1 ND ‘Sail/ Medium Grey- Medium Grey- Light Bone’
Available at Titolo, these beautiful Air Max1s with a suede and canvas upper are perfect for the Summer months we have ahead of us. The red pair are definitely my favourite being massively vibrant and a great way to round off a simple Summer outfit. The tonal grey pair have caught my eye as a great shoe for work, understated yet still neckbreaking!
Get yours at Titolo, here and here in a size run from UK3 up.
Yes, I have yet again fallen for another new Air Max 90 release. Nike are continually reminding us with fresh colourways that Summer is on it’s way… it will be here eventually, one day, maybe.
This time we are treated to a white / provence purple / wine combo of this classic silhouette. The smooth leather overlay and mudguards in contrasting purples look great against the mesh white base and grey tongue. I also love the matching wine accents and outsole, which really finishes off the cool grey and white midsole.
Although I do love this particular colourway, there is no doubt that the Air Max 90 always balances style with comfort, making it the perfect sneaker for all seasons, no matter what the colour.
I have a few pairs of AM90s in my collection and I think these beauties will be my next addition! Available now in sizes UK 3 – 7, be sure to pick yours up here!
When I came across these and saw the block colour, my eyes nearly fell out of my head!
Nike Air Max 1 TXT ‘Magenta/Magenta/White/NTRL Grey’
The AM1 silhouette always makes my little feet stand out and with this magenta canvas upper, I know my size 3′s would be smiling.
The additions of the lighter colours on the midsole, branding and sockliner really bring out the single coloured upper, making it a shoe fit for the sunshine.
With a size run of a UK6 and upwards, I know that some of you ladies out there will be looking to get your hands on these. From what I can see, they’ll be releasing the end of May but stick with Big Eyes and we’ll keep you updated!
So, it seems that yesterday I may have slightly jinxed the weather when I said ‘Is Summer Finally En Route?‘… Sorry about that, it’s clearly not. However, to cheer you all up, I thought I’d give you a little look at what I’ve just got!
My Nike Air Jordan IV Ultraviolet GS beasts have arrived and they are just stunning! Most of my Jordans have become beaters, having seen many nights out and visiting festivals worldwide, but I have a feeling that these will be given a top shelf space and will remain in pristine condition. They truly are beautiful.
With a white leather base, surrounded by a light grey delicately sparkled overlay and mesh panels on the sides and tongue, these Jordan IVs are super-crisp as usual. I’m really feeling the black-speckled purple mudguards, with my favourite feature of these sneaks being the matching purple-speckled black wings and heel tabs.
Available solely for little soles, you can cop these treasures in sizes UK 3 – 5.5, but they won’t be around for long! Pick up yours here.
As I’m feeling really good right now, I’d like to treat you to this really good track:
