Competition Time.. Prize #4

The lovely Matt AKA Stickypop, who designed our amazing logo, has kindly given us a tee from his brand – Squiddles for the competition..

This tee sells on his site for £15. The logo was created for the memory book he made for Emma, who the brand is in memory of. The diamond represents him and his artwork and the anchor, for Emma and her love for all things nautical which he cleverly combined into one!

Cheers Matt!!

We’ve got another RAD prize on it’s way to us as we speak so keep checking back for it, then we’ll post the question and you can all enter and get winning!!

New Year, New Inspiration

So it’s the beginning of a new year and I thought it was the perfect time to tell you all a little bit about the amazing person who created our banner – Matt AKA Stickypop.

He is an extremely talented Manchester based Illustrator and Designer (as you can probably see) who puts SO much effort into his work, it’s incredible!
This isn’t the whole story though.
Matt is a massive inspiration to me. Earlier this year, his girlfriend Emma, passed away after having a severe reaction to a virus. Matt didn’t let this experience get him down, he took it and used it to do amazing things. He started his clothing brand – Squiddles -

Which is Emma’s nickname. Last year, Matt set up an exhibition which saw a lot of equally talented artists creating pieces for him to then sell/auction off, in order to raise money for the Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Squiddles still lives on today and is going from strength to strength.
Matt, you are a HUGE inspiration to Lei and I.

So, we thought it was time to give ourselves a bit of a logo..
I asked the lovely Matt AKA Sticky Pop AKA Squiddles to design us one following a brief I had emailed him.
Sorry if I was too specific Matt! However, the outcome is perfect!

We have yet to sort out placing the banner above links, but for now, we are SO happy!!

Matt is a man of many talents, not only is he an incredibly talented graphic designer and illustrator, he has started a clothing brand in memory of his beautiful girlfriend who passed away this year. I think it’s an amazing thing when someone uses their talent and skill to not only help others, but to overcome massive hurdles and create something brilliant.

Mr Stickypop is an inspiration and just the best ever!!
