Vans Animal Slip-Ons

Big eyes, really really little soles…. Now this is one for the teenie tiny feet, so Mum’s and Dad’s break out the wallet for the coolest kicks your toddler will ever wear!

I know a lot of girls and guys are going to be jealous because these aren’t for feet any bigger than a Kids UK10…. but I found these too damn cute to resist sharing with you! Man how I wish I was toddler size 4-10….

A good one for any Mum’s lookin’ to step up their baba’s sneaker game. I know if I was a toddler with monkies, panda’s and dinosaurs on my feet I would have been dancing before I was walking.

I Lost My Vans Virginity And It Felt Great

I bought my first pair of Vans last week and I’ve been meaning to post about them ever since, but these April showers just aren’t doing it for my new kicks. I mean, how am I supposed to check out their special Dri-Lex material if the weather won’t let me god damn sweat??

Ok, so no personal photographs of my special little soles yet but here’s what they look like on the Vans website:

This are my perfect summer shoe! Just like black, leopard print goes with anything.

This style also comes in some other hot prints, which I am considering as a follow up purchase as a well-done-me gift during this grueling study period. Shopping always helps.

Patterns, Patterns, Patterns

Whether it’s animal print, aztec, stripes or polka dots, I love patterns. I definitely have a thing for blog colour, but when you team that with some kind or patterned print, I think it makes for a perfect outfit!

Paying respect to the founder of the company, James Van Doren, this series of shoes, by the looks of things, will be made up of a Skate-Hi, an Era and a Slip-On. I’m not sure whether this is it though, there may be more additions to the pack, but the suede on canvas mix adds a little something extra. Out of the three we’ve been teased with, the Era is definitely my favourite but I’m guessing these won’t drop in small sizes (keeping my fingers crossed that they do though!)

Next up is the Pendleton x Vans x Nibwaakaawin for 2012 All Nations Skate Jam collaboration. All for a good cause, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this collab will go towards Nibwaakaawin’s efforts working towards motivating Native American youth through skateboarding. These will be exclusively available at the Gathering of Nations Powwow and the 2012 All Nations Skate Jam in Albuquerque. The purple based Sk8-Hi and Old Skool are my pick of the bunch but I’m not a massive fan of the slip-on as a shoe in general.
