Another GS 90!

2012 really has been a good year for sneaker pick ups but a bad year for my bank account!

This release, now available from Shelta will definitely make a dent in my wallet but leave me with smiling feet!

Nike Air Max 90 GS ‘Neutral Grey/Blue/Volt’
I hate the ever changing weather in London and having a leather upper on a shoe makes life so much easier as they wipe clean in an instant. The upper on this release is made entirely from leather and the grey accents are totally offset by the white Swoosh and branding, the Volt air unit and of course the blue outsole. These are four Colours I wouldn’t normally put together but in this instance, they look just right!

From above, the shoe looks muted and toned down but to those walking next to or behind you, it will be a totally different story!

Royal Mint

No, I’m not talking about where the £ is made..

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 ‘Game Royal/Mint Candy’
A while ago I picked up a pair of Air Max 1s in a very similar colourway and they’re still looking fresh as they rarely see the light of day.. I just can’t bring myself to get them dirty. I have a feeling these might be the same, although, with a leather upper, they’re definitely easier to clean than my suede AM1s.

My favourite part of this AM90 release is the herringbone look toe box and panels, it brings a sense of depth and texture to the shoe and really makes it something special. Add in the mint candy Swoosh and branding (one of my favourite colours) and you’ve got yourself a shoe that’s ready for the summer (if it ever stops raining).

Ladies, get yours here.

Take Shelta..

No that’s not a typo, it’s where the next pair of kicks I’m going to blog about are available..
I’ve always said I love a simple colourway on a classic silhouette like the Air Max 90 and there’s no change with this release.

Nike Air Max 90 ‘Black/White/Neutral Grey/Midnight Fog’
When an AM90 has a black leather upper, it always makes it look sleek (just my opinion though) but put that against the midnight fog accent, neutral grey mudguard and the white branding, inserts, Swoosh and sock liner, this AM90 is perfect already. However it doesn’t end there, the black suede overlay adds a whole new texture to the shoe making it stand out in the crowd with no trouble at all.

A sneaker that can be worn from day to night, this is a must buy for anyone with feet sized UK6.5 and up!

There’s A Pattern Occurring

It’s probably become clear after reading my posts that I’ve got a ‘thing’ for all black (or mostly black) sneakers. I’m not sure whether it’s my tastes maturing or not, but I definitely like my sneakers simple but stand out.
This release is no exception to my love for block colour..

Nike Air Max 90 Premium ‘Black/Black’
With a combination of full and smooth grain premium leathers, this AM90 doesn’t only look tasty on, but is amazing to touch. The different textures really give the impression that this sneaker means business! One addition you might have noticed is the air unit, which isn’t black and in fact has a blue tinge to it. This really sets the bubble apart from the rest of the shoe.. after all it is an Air Max sneaker!
After my recent purchases/gifts of all black Air Max 90s, I’m definitely drooling over these, however I’m not entirely sure they’ll drop in my size.

Bigger size ranges available now at both Shelta and SNS but going down to a US 6 does mean some of our female readers can cop!

Nearly Midnight

Nike Air Max 90 – Midnight Fog/Black-White

Another day, another sick Air Max 90.

Grey seems to be the hue of choice over at Nike at the moment, fitting perfectly with the weather and this recent drop from the brand couldn’t reflect London’s weather any more!

Combining mesh, leather and nubuck, this AM90 would be a really nice but subtle change from black trainers. The white branding on the heel and the bluish air bubble highlight Nike’s ever-present (and always dope) attention to detail and add a nice bright touch to the shoe. I can easily see these becoming a staple item in my wardrobe! Check out more pics below…

Burgundy, Not Ron Burgundy

Nike Air Max 90 ‘White/Burgundy/Varsity Red’

The white mesh base of this sneaker is a perfect match to the warm burgundy and right varsity red inserts found within this colourway.
The grey is a really refreshing addition to this show, it softens out the other deep tones surrounding it.
The leather looks really smooth in these colours, this is an all round, clean and attractive shoe.
Maybe good for the upcoming Summer nights, not too bright but definitely not dull, I’d love to add these to my collection!
I don’t think I’ll be able to, as they’re not a women’s release, however, if you do buy a pair, let us know! Send us a photo!
