Out to the Little Soles… this one is strictly for you! Nike are continuing to celebrate the Year of the Snake in 2013 with two classic styles released in a striking snake skin theme.
A little insight into the Chinese lunar calendar… it states that those born in the Year of the Snake possess an infatuation with all things beautiful in life; which is clearly a fitting inspiration for this stunning collection. For obvious reasons, I am going to let the photos do the majority of the talking…
First up from the double pack we have one of Nike’s running icons, the Air Max 1:
Secondly is the Nike Dunk Sky Hi; a subtle lift in the heel of this classic court gives a feminine element to the sneaker game:
The pack is available in sizes UK3 – 6 and is available now at select Nike Sportswear locations globally.
If you know me, you’ll usually see me wearing all or mostly black… I just think it suits me better. Maybe it’s a sign of my ‘fashion sense’ maturing, who knows!
When these released, I was worried they wouldn’t be available for any of us smaller footed ladies… However, if you’re a UK 5.5 and up.. THEY ARE! (Unfortunately, I don’t fall into that category – iD possibly?)
Nike Air Max 1 Premium ‘Black/Anthracite’
With the all black upper in various textures, this shoe totally speaks for itself. I’ll let it do the talking! All I can say is, WHY AREN’T THESE BEING RELEASED IN MY LITTLE SIZE?!
Winter is upon us, daylight hours are shortened, the weather is getting more dreary and toes are getting colder! Fear not though… check out Vans offering of the Cold Weather Classics Holiday 2012 release, which will at least keep your heart warm whilst you’re waiting to cop a pair from this stylish, yet highly convenient pack!
I love this entire collection, which features a variety of Vans models, including the 106 vulcanized, classic Era and Mid Skool, as well as the all new Outdoor Switchback silhouette. With a mixture of watertight pigskin, vulc soles, suede uppers and fleece linings, this pack is top notch for the coming cold weather months. My personal favourites have to be the Mid Skool 77s in brown, so fresh!
Check out your local Vans brand retailer now or visit Surfdome to cop these treats!
2012 has seen plenty of sweet releases from Nike to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the legendary Air Force 1 silhouette. Seeing out the big 3-0 in style is the release of the Supreme X Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration.
The trio all feature the famous redbox Supreme logo entwined with the Nike Swoosh, as well as the branding of both on the insole and tongue, amongst the use of a fabric selection known as Nyco, a highly durable canvas type material that is the perfect water resistant frame for any sneaker. With camo, olive and black colourways set for release this week, be quick with your decision as to which pair to bag!
You can pick these special collab sneakers up from Supreme’s London, New York, Los Angeles and online locations on Thursday 15th November and then at Japan locations on Saturday 17th November.
Check out this dope GS release of the Air Jordan IV, exclusively for the little feet out there. With my last AJ4 purchase being the Ultraviolet GS release, I think there is definitely room amongst my other Js for these beasts!
I love how the highlighted dynamic blue and vivid pink elements of this colourway pop against the black nubuck upper of these true beauties. For me, although the neon sockliner, eyelets, outsole, lacing and branding combination come together to make these sneakers stand out initially, it’s the pink-on-black speckled midsole that catches your eye second, making your heart melt slightly and helping complete these absolute treats!
I cannot wait for these babies to get in my life! As always, make sure you keep it Big Eyes Little Soles for details of the drop.
Adidas skateboarder Chewy Canon has earned his stripes! After skating for Adidas for some time, Pro rider Chewy has made his mark on the brand with his colour-way of the Campus Vulc’s.
With a black suede upper and yellow heels, 3 leather white stripes and sockliners the Chewy Campus Vulc rides a gum vulc sole making them a show stopper in skate shoes, they really do look the part (in my eyes) no skate shoe is compete without a gum sole!
The Vulcanized sole construction, geo fit ankle collar and uprated inner sole makes these skate shoes comfortable and durable for all those long days catching clips.
Official release will be on 29th September with a launch party in Liverpool. You can cop these from retailers like NOTE Skate Shop in Manchester or if your not local, off their website www.noteshop.co.uk
Check out Chewy Canon’s section from the Adidas Skateboarding Diagonal team video released in May 2009. DOPE STUFF!
Daddy Jordan has added another Son to the MARS family in the form of the ever popular, ‘Bordeaux’ colour-way. The sneaker follows through on the ‘Bordeaux’ theme with a combination of dark and light grey’s to set the canvas with university gold setting for the jumpman and bordeaux laces. The classic cement print across the toe and strap reminds us that these babies are a part of the ‘Son Of MARS’ family.
I didn’t manage to cop the Jordan VII Bordeaux when they released so hopefully I can grab me a pair of these!
Available form Jordan Brand retailers like Footlocker on 15th September in adult AND GS sizes! Don’t forget to instagram and hashtag bigeyeslittlesoles if you cop these!
Now then, what do we have here? Definitely one to accommodate the smaller, more feminine Jordan soles. This Air Jordan VI is a special release as it only going to reach the feet of those who have the privilege to be blessed with GS sized toe-sies!
A fresh black canvas with a cotton candy type mix of Marina Blue and Pink Flash on these beautiful VI’s makes them a hot item for the coming months as summer closes its curtains once again. I certainly think you would have the flexibility to pull these babies off with a sleek black outfit, adding a pop of colour or a bright bold outfit, co-ordinating with the fresh candy like colours…. and how can your argue with the classic Air Jordan VI silhouette! Either way, these babies are a winner!
I particularly admire the patent leather accents which (I think) really brings them to life and gives the black a bit more of a 3 dimentional look, love em’! Cop these babies from your local Jordan stockists from Saturday 8th September…. Just in time for school.
Another Air Jordan GS exclusive!….The reign of the “Fireberry” continues in the form of the Air Jordan 7. This fresh GS release collaborates the hot pink & purple accents with a white base, contrasting the plain white background to give them an elegant, girly pop!
As they are like a blank canvas, these would easily adapt to most outfits in your wardrobe, a definite cop!
Set to release on August 11th from your nearest Jordan Brand retailer.
Don’t forget to tweet/instagram us your pics if you cop these!
No spelling mistakes, you all know what this post is going to be about…
Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS ‘White/Cement Grey-Infrared-Black’
I was so upset when I knew I wouldn’t have a chance at getting my hands on a pair of the Crooked Tongues Infra Hyperfuse’s, now I’m still a little sad as I have a feeling these might not drop in my size either.. Even though these are QS, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a good handful of you lucky average size footed people out there wearing them.
Remember, these are only going to be available in limited numbers so don’t sleep on the release this Friday.. Pick yours up at Size? Send us pics to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter!
