Worrrrdy word!

So over the last couple of months I’ve picked up a few pairs of kicks that I’d like to share with you all.

Nike Huarache LE ACG Pack

First up, are my Nike Air Huarache LE ACG Pack in Violet (Medium Charcoal/Prsm Vlt-Ptch), back from 2007. I’ve always loved this pack with its premium materials and bold colours, and I was ecstatic when I finally managed to cop a pair of these in my size on eBay. The lush purple neoprene sock really complements the warm brown tones of the leather, and as you know by now I’m mad about speckled sole units. I’m still after the teal and mowabb colour ways, hopefully I’ll be able to complete the whole pack in the future.

Nike Air Huarache Footlocker Exclusive in Black/Black-Tour Yellow-White

Air Huarache LEs are definitely my favourite Nike silhouette, it’s the perfect design for a balance of ice cold style coupled with amazing comfort. So it was to my surprise and joy that I learned that Nike would be releasing a new selection of Huarache LE colour ways this summer. Although there have been some dope Huarache Free releases this year nothing really compares to the original sole unit for me, which really makes the shoe stand out from the crowd. I almost missed out on this sick colourway exclusive to Footlocker, but I’m so glad I managed to cop these in the end. The simplicity of the black suede upper and white midsole contrasted with the hints of yellow make this shoe pop. The neutral colour palette also makes these kick easy to rock with just about anything so these are quickly becoming a staple in my fits.

Asics Gel Lyte Speed in White/Lime

I’ve been after a pair of Asics for a while and picked these up on a whim from Offspring while in London recently. I love a splash of lime green so this colourway really spoke to me, plus once I noticed the speckled midsole I was hooked. These have been a really nice addition to my collection ready for summer and can’t wait to rock these with a white tee and denim shorts when the weather is on point.

Nike Air Max 1 x Liberty London

Last but not least, I finally managed to pick up a pair of these badboys! I was so impressed at the quality of these that I just had to pick up a pair instore, the lush materials and unique Liberty pattern make these real show stoppers. Although these are such a gorgeous shoe I think they’re a little too girly for my taste, so they’re now up for sale. Double Neon Double Neon

This Lime Green obsession of mine is getting ridiculous but I’m too far into it to stop now. PLUS I think I’ve found the perfect pair…

NIKE SKY FORCE 88 MID TXT ELECTRIC GREEN-SUMMIT WHITE

I normally stay away from high tops but as a girl who enjoys a bit of variety in her life I’m starting to think, what the heck, lets break the mould a little and go for these mid-soles. They would definitely look hot with my summer wardrobe and probably yours too.

So far I can only see these available at iD4shoes starting from UK size 7 but my fingers are crossed that I’ll find a lil sole size so I can put on my lime green dress and go DOUBLE NEON.

Easter Feet

Every year around Easter time, Nike release an AM1 in a colourway perfect for Spring. Last year it was the WMNS Filament Green/Lemon Frost which I am lucky enough to own, in 2012, it’s these.

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Julep/Liquid Lime/Coast’

With a perfect blend of pastel yellow, lime and the clear sky blue, these Air Max 1′s will look amazing once the sun is shining and we’re well on our way towards the Summer months.
I don’t know what it is about this tone of yellow mixed with the ‘liquid lime’ that really makes me smile, but paired with a light denim jean or pair of shorts, it adds just the right burst of colour to any relatively plain outfit.

Where I Wanna Be…

When the weather is like this I can’t help but look forward to summer- winter is great too (kind of) but for the average sneaker fiend summer really is the season to be jolly as it usually means the roads are no longer one long obstacle course, where mushy leaves are something like geological Bob-ombs lurking on the road waiting to explode a muddy mess on my crepes.

ANYWAY… Tasha’s latest post on those AM90 Vac Techs inspired me and got me thinking about what AM90s I wanna be rocking this summer. As I have recently decided lime green will be my colour of choice when the Sun starts making a warm appearance, I hereby declare my search for a pair of these:

Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse Neon Lime Green

There’s something so seamless about one tone kicks and with a neon colour way like this, these kicks are especially striking- not everyone’s cup of tea I realise but highly attractive to me nonetheless.

Another Jordan GS exclusive!….

“Air Jordan I Phat – Black / Purple / Lime Green”

As if the Jordan Brand wasn’t already spoiling us little soles with an exclusiverelease in April, they have announced an additional bredrin to be added to the GS family!

Black x purple x lime green……. why so serious? I can’t help but think of the Joker when I see this colour combination – so dope!

They are a smooth, yet bold kick with an excellent contrast of colours. Utilizing the purple leather to the max with purple toes, side wings, swoosh, and a purple & black graphic concealed under a clear netted mesh along the side! All this purple and black leaves a small part for the lime green to play in the lining of the sneak, which looks like it could be some silky type material, (also on my Jordan I phat all purples) so comfortable! The black is broken up perfectly with a bright white midsole and a black outsole.
Such a delight.
