Nike Air Classic BW ‘Black/Black/Cool Grey/White’
A black leather, peforated toe box is not only an attractive feature on this shoe, but it’s hugely practical. Waterproof, wipe clean and a perfect way to round off a sneaker.
With the colourblocked upper, consisting of two perfectly matched colours and the little additions of white in just the right places, I WANT THIS RELEASE. However, my dreams probably won’t become a reality as they’re only available from UK7 and up, from here.
Usually, I have this weird ‘thing’ with velcro and straps on shoes. I really can’t explain why, there’s definitely no explanation for it, but I’ve never liked them.
Check these little beauties, it’s the colourway or should I say lack of colour which allows the timeless design take the lime light.
So I’ll begin with the obvious, an all leather ‘stormblue’ upper which is perfect for winter as it’s wipe clean and will stand out in this snowy weather! The ‘jersey gold’ sole and branding add a slight feminine touch to an otherwise unisex colourway. But this isn’t all that’s special about this WMNS release..
These Air Max 90′s feature a snakeskin camo ankle collar and Swoosh which add texture and something a little bit different to this shoe. I must admit, there is something smurf-like about this 90 but I like it! I know I want to see it up close and definitely try before I buy.. but that’s just because the colour is so far from something I’d normally go for.. however.. cop while you can as I don’t think these will be in stock for long!
The seamless Vacuum Technology we’ve been seeing so much lately looks so smooth on this rough wool upper. In winter I like to wear leggings and slouchy socks with my SB Blazers and I think that little combo would look really good with these kicks.
I don’t normally like anything other than a plain lace, but these woven two-tone laces, bring out the speckles in the wool and make them look even more cosy.
As if the premium material of the body of this shoe wasn’t enough to keep your feet warm in the winter months, the leather tongue and inner will add even more heat to your feet!
I’m a sucker for a black sole so as you can tell, I’m drooling over these right now!
With a combination of full and smooth grain premium leathers, this AM90 doesn’t only look tasty on, but is amazing to touch. The different textures really give the impression that this sneaker means business! One addition you might have noticed is the air unit, which isn’t black and in fact has a blue tinge to it. This really sets the bubble apart from the rest of the shoe.. after all it is an Air Max sneaker!
After my recent purchases/gifts of all black Air Max 90s, I’m definitely drooling over these, however I’m not entirely sure they’ll drop in my size.
