Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS ‘White/Cement Grey-Infrared-Black’

I was so upset when I knew I wouldn’t have a chance at getting my hands on a pair of the Crooked Tongues Infra Hyperfuse’s, now I’m still a little sad as I have a feeling these might not drop in my size either.. Even though these are QS, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a good handful of you lucky average size footed people out there wearing them.

Where I Wanna Be…

When the weather is like this I can’t help but look forward to summer- winter is great too (kind of) but for the average sneaker fiend summer really is the season to be jolly as it usually means the roads are no longer one long obstacle course, where mushy leaves are something like geological Bob-ombs lurking on the road waiting to explode a muddy mess on my crepes.

ANYWAY… Tasha’s latest post on those AM90 Vac Techs inspired me and got me thinking about what AM90s I wanna be rocking this summer. As I have recently decided lime green will be my colour of choice when the Sun starts making a warm appearance, I hereby declare my search for a pair of these:

There’s something so seamless about one tone kicks and with a neon colour way like this, these kicks are especially striking- not everyone’s cup of tea I realise but highly attractive to me nonetheless.

Gift Kicks

December was a good month for my feet! My boyfriend knows exactly how to make me smile and gave me two pairs of small sneaks.. one for my birthday and the other for Christmas.
Among the other amazing gifts I received.. these two are making it onto the blog, and you’ll soon see why!

Nike AM90 Hyperfuse iD
He put his creative skills into play and designed me these beasts, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!

I love an all black sneaker and when the Hyperfuse 90s were released, I was dreaming of a completely black pair in my little size. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen.. until MY BIRTHDAY!
The upper is seriously brought to life by the vibrant red sole which, I think is a perfect addition to this understated sneaker.
And to top it all off..

That’s me! I always thought adding writing to an iD design was a bit weird, but as it’s all black and not instantly noticeable, it’s all good. They look amazing on.. the other day I wore them with AA black shiny nylon tricot leggings and a forest green marl tee.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 VT ‘Medium Grey/Sail’
The Vac Tech releases didn’t actually appeal to me until I saw them up close. I just wasn’t sure about them.. maybe I’m too much of a creature of habit? Anyway, when I opened them on Christmas day I was pleasantly surprised! Not only are they completely different from anything else I own, they’re SO COMFORTABLE! The premium lining makes my feet feel so snug and cosy. A really smart sneaker, these were the perfect pressie!

This morning I was woken up to a parcel at my door..
There’s nothing I like better than being woken up to presents.. especially when they’re sneakers!
I was lucky enough to be sent these beasts from the guys at Titolo.
Nike WMNS Air Max 90 Hyperfuse Premium ‘Aura/White’
I clearly didn’t waste any time and had to wear them for work today. They’re so light and comfortable and look amazing with my favourite leggings, which is another plus!
I wasn’t sure about the hyperfuse 90s, maybe because I don’t like change, but seeing them in the flesh and wearing them has definitely changed my mind. Although the toe box is slightly see through (which I discovered when wearing purple socks – which I then changed!) there really aren’t any faults with this sneaker. I am officially converted and I love them!
My birthday is 6 weeks away, so this is definitely a perfect early birthday present!

The 2011 Rugby World Cup started last week and to celebrate this NikeID have released a dope pair of Hyperfuse Air Max 1s.

Even the box is dope!

On sale now from 1948, these kicks cost £125 but not only do you get a pair of trainers, they also come with a set of customised Beats By Dre headphones! These have got to be my favourite pair of Hyperfuse Am1s that I’ve seen so far and they kiiind of strike me as the male partner to the WMNS Black Safari AM1s…

Crooked Infrared

As I’m sure you know by now, the annual Crooked Tongues BBQ took place on Sunday. Throughout the day, Crooked Tongues ran a competition where they asked BBQ attendees to tweet a picture of the kicks they wore that day. Winners were treated to an exclusive pair of the Hyperfuse Air Max 90 Infrared! Sadly these aren’t available to buy, but check out the pics below!

Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse Premium – Midnight Fog/Blue Glow/Medium Grey

The Hyperfuse series of sneakers (AM90s and AM1s) strike me as the perfect lightweight, fashionable performance shoes that I’ve been after for a while.

On this particular beast, panels and inserts appear to be seamless and the Blue Glow mudguard make it look really futuristic. As you all know by now I’m a huge fan of Medium Grey and to see it make an appearance on these kicks makes me love them even more!
