Offspring X Vans Era 59

So, before the April showers decided to drench us all, I was convinced that summer might finally have been on the way. Luckily, Offspring have once again teamed up with Vans to create another sweet drop of the Era 59, which will certainly keep us on the summer vibe!

This collaboration sees a clever first in trainer design, with use of a matte textured rubber for the toe box area, which symbolises the grip tape used on skateboards to link with Vans renowned skateboarding culture. These gems are a feast for the eyes, featuring premium leather on the tongue, heel and flag, with rich suede middle quarters, in a multitude of colours. Finished off with boot style laces, I feel these beautiful kicks will look dapper rocked with just about any outfit!

Good news for all the Little Soles – these treats are available in sizes UK 4 – 11, but are only stocked in very limited numbers, so go cops yours here and here now!

Peace out,

Mmmm-mmm…That is a tasty burger…

Yooo!

Fresh out of the oven are these tasty looking ‘burger’ joints emerging from a collaboration between The Cobra Snake x colette x Vans Era. Featuring a gum sole and a filling packed upper taken from a sticker for Mark Hunter’s second Cobra Snake collection, these shoes are certainly off the wall. Reminiscent of Vans’ previously popular watermelon colourway these probably aren’t for everyone but are an entertaining statement piece.

The box is pretty awesome too!

You can pick these up from colette on March 1st.

Be the hamburglar.

Peace and love,

Tash

Two Tone

When Summer comes, my Black/White Vans Authentic’s and my Vintage Surf Mahogany Era’s are staple shoes.. perfect for the beach or just for walking around in the day or night. When Winter hits, I pull out my Sk8 Hi’s or Half Cabs to keep my feet warm whilst being two of the most comfortable shoes I own.

I’ve been thinking that I haven’t picked up a nice pair of Era’s in a while and just my luck.. Vans are releasing a Two Tone pack consisting of a Half Cab, An Era and a 106 Vulc.. So much choice!

Vans Classics ‘Two Tone’ Pack
Half Cab
Era
106 Vulc
People always say that black and blue don’t go.. but I’ve never understood it.. My favourite of the three is the Half Cab, there’s just something about the placement of the two colours against each other and also how lush the suede across the front of the toe box looks that have drawn me in! I definitely think the colours used within this two tone pack work really well together.
I’m doubtful that these will drop in sizes small enough for me.. but if you pick any up, send us pics!
Which is your favourite pair? Let us know here!

A Change For The Books

It’s pretty clear that I mostly wear Nike sneakers with a few Vans Era’s thrown in for good measure..
Well not today..

Vans Half Cab.. And I’m totally in love! I’d been told that these beasts were comfortable but I wasn’t sure.. Now I definitely am! They’re amazing! My feet feel so snug, warm and not to mention supported. It’s a shame I’m not a skater because I feel I can’t do them justice! But oh well, they look rad! I’m glad I chose the deep blue colour, it’s sick!
At £47, they’re cheaper than a full price sneaker but still not for someone on a tight budget. However, these bad boys are sturdy and definitely worth the money!

Animal Instinct

Say hello to SASQUATCHFabrix’s feline interpretation of the well loved Vans Era.
As part of the Leopard Pride Collection, these Era’s have been released with matching bags and flat peaks. (I’m more interested in the sneakers.)
These colourways might seem a bit garish, but teamed up with a plain pair of jeans or leggings/tights and a fresh, plain white tee, nothing but amazing!
My personal favourite are the blue pair, however, I’d probably prefer to wear the original leopard colourway.
They’re just plain beautiful!
With uppers made from high grade leopard embroidered fabric, at $200, these are a steal!
Available here (not in the UK), I’d suggest you do all you can to get a pair!
