I think eBay is pretty underrated with regards to picking up trainers. People often overlook it thinking that it’s a lot of effort to find any gems – but trust me, the effort is worth it. Some of my favourite pairs were purchased on eBay, all it takes is a little patience. Here are some of my favourite eBay pick-ups, just to prove that there really are some bargains to be had:
Nike Air Tailwind OG!
Nike Air 180 Mint – 2010
Nike x Foot Patrol Air Stabs – 2005
Nike Air Huarache LE – 2007
Nike Air Max 95 ‘Valentines’ – 2000
Nike Air Huarache Green/Grey – 2004

Last week was a really good week for me in terms of finding myself some real bargains:
OG 1992 Deadstock Nikes – I don’t really know much about the history of this model, however I couldn’t pass on a pair of OG’s in such good condition for less than £20. The sole has yellowed slightly which is expected of a trainer that is nearly as old as me!
Nike Huarache LE – The strap on one of my ‘royal’ huarache LE’s recently broke so I have been on the look for a replacement pair. I am still yet to find another pair in the blue/white colour way, but when this yellow/white colour way came up on eBay in my size I thought I would treat myself. Another bargain considering the demand for huaraches has risen massively as of late driving the prices up to a ridiculous level.
Just a quick post to show you all some of my recent pick ups.
Nike Air Max 1s
Picked these up from eBay for an absolute bargain price. My second pair of these, so now I have one for best and one for beaters.
Nike air Huarache LE – Footlocker exclusive
Managed to get my hands on two pairs of the first Footlocker exclusive of the Huarache LE’s (The second colourway is now available in-store) His & Hers. There are also a few pairs left on the Footlocker website in larger sizes for any of the guys reading this.
After a few days holiday, I come back to work with a nice little California stamped package on my desk…. but what could it be?!
My new bling has arrived!
After seeing these babies on Ebay I was compelled to buy, It would have been rude not too really!
I’m not one for expensive jewellery, flash cars, champers and all that jazz, but these make me feel like a million bucks! I know I’m going to look like a geek in my J’s with matching earrings and necklace, but I don’t care, I love em’!
Borderline Jordan obsession or Miss Jordan must-haves?
I’ve bought quite a few pairs of trainers recently so I thought I would share them with you;
Asics Gel Lyte III – I bought these from Hanon who currently have a really good sale on, and even have some Asics in women’s sizes. The speckled midsole and the split tongue (which prevents any sliding to the side) are my favourite features.
Nike AM95 Valentines Edition (2000) – I picked these up on eBay for a bargain price, and they were in pretty much perfect condition.
Nike Cortez Nylon – I recently went to WellGosh in Leicester and saw these, unfortunately they only had them in mens sizes. I was determined I would get them so I nipped into Nike Town where thankfully they had them in my size.
You know we like to help you find gems, so here on eBay we have found a pair of UK size 8 Jordan V retro White/Black-Fire Red from the 1999 release!!! We’ve all been picking up new releases from Jordan Brand recently so it’s nice to see some retro releases crop up from time to time!
Check the images below and go to the eBay listing for more deets!
I told you last week about the Black/Pink Safari AM1s that were on their way to me after a fierce eBay bidding war.. Well, they arrived!
The all black safari print is undoubtedly my favourite of any WMNS safari AM1. Over the past few months, I’ve definitely moved from mostly owning white based sneakers, to falling in love with the mainly black colourways and these are no exception! The pink sock rim and top eyelets add a bright hint of colour that makes the black safari print really stand out.
No other word than FIIYYAHH comes to mind, every time I see these beasts sitting in my bedroom.
My favourite AM1 purchase by a mile!
I am the worst person when it comes to Ebay. I hate bidding on items and so I stick to ‘buy it now’. Until I saw a pair of 2009 Autumn line WMNS Safari AM1s that I’ve been looking for FOR AGES!
I’ve already got the white/blue/grey-safari pair, the red/blue-safari aren’t for me, and I’m still yet to find the purple/orange-safari.. but these, I’ve been on the hunt for and just couldn’t find. Luckily my boyfriend is a master at eBay-ing and sat with me and outbid the last bidder by £1 and they’re mine!
These two pics are from the sale so I’ll take some more when they get to me.. but I fully can’t wait for them!
