Big Eyes x Sneeky Fox x Digmas

Yo!

Last Sunday Holly (me) and Bee were repping Big Eyes at one of the coolest little places in Brum town. Sneeky Fox Presents.. Digmas (Digbeth/ Christmas) at Mr Birds Emporium at the Custard Factory.

Coming by small kicks can be quite a task in Birmingham, so we set up our stall in aid of spreading style to the Little Soles out there and educating all on the best female sneaker blog going!





Me and Bee were safari buddys for the day.

Gift Kicks

December was a good month for my feet! My boyfriend knows exactly how to make me smile and gave me two pairs of small sneaks.. one for my birthday and the other for Christmas.
Among the other amazing gifts I received.. these two are making it onto the blog, and you’ll soon see why!

Nike AM90 Hyperfuse iD
He put his creative skills into play and designed me these beasts, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!

I love an all black sneaker and when the Hyperfuse 90s were released, I was dreaming of a completely black pair in my little size. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen.. until MY BIRTHDAY!
The upper is seriously brought to life by the vibrant red sole which, I think is a perfect addition to this understated sneaker.
And to top it all off..

That’s me! I always thought adding writing to an iD design was a bit weird, but as it’s all black and not instantly noticeable, it’s all good. They look amazing on.. the other day I wore them with AA black shiny nylon tricot leggings and a forest green marl tee.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 VT ‘Medium Grey/Sail’
The Vac Tech releases didn’t actually appeal to me until I saw them up close. I just wasn’t sure about them.. maybe I’m too much of a creature of habit? Anyway, when I opened them on Christmas day I was pleasantly surprised! Not only are they completely different from anything else I own, they’re SO COMFORTABLE! The premium lining makes my feet feel so snug and cosy. A really smart sneaker, these were the perfect pressie!

Sale Treasures

The January sales please me. In fact, I love them. For those of you who stayed indoors to do your shopping online and stay away from those crazy sale shoppers… I was probably part of that crowd you were avoiding. Don’t get me wrong, you won’t find me queuing at Selfridges 5am Boxing Day, but I do love a proper bargain. I managed to pick up these hotties at good old JD Sports.

Air Force 1 Low White/Fresh-Water/Black


With only one pair left I had to get them in a size 5 and although I would have preferred a 4.5, bargain hunters like me have to be adaptable so I won’t complain. The fact that these trainers have a black outsole is especially great because it will help them to look fresher for longer.

For their first outing I plan to wear these kicks with my tweed print leggings, leather jacket and fur hat- going for that urban farmer chic thang.

You Won’t Need Your Safety Goggles Here!

The AM90 is a silhouette I’ll never get bored of and when a colourway like this surfaces I can only hope that Nike release pairs small enough for me!

Nike Air Max 90 ‘White/Mahogany/Safety Orange’
Some might say it’s a weird take on the Infrared, but I think it’s just something new, bold and seriously tasty looking!
The white upper with white sockliner, Swoosh, tongue and midsole is a perfect base for two really strong and stand out colours. The mahogany mudguard, heel branding and top eyelets add a warm, Christmassy feeling against the bright safety orange, tongue branding and air unit. With a ‘safety orange’ sole to finish it all off, this sneaker (in my opinion) is amazing and I can only hope I’ll get my hands on a pair in my size!

Mini sneakers.. you may have seen them all before.. but, Paris store Qhuit are selling these beauties by Merystache (soon to be added to their webstore).. A perfect stocking filler!

I’m not much of a jewellery fan, but a bunch of these hanging on my wall would make me really happy! Let’s hope they have a Jordan 6 black/varsity red pendant in stock!

So you probably don’t want Lasagna for christmas right? Maybe you do and I’m pretty sure Garfield does, but I think you’d rather some of The Hundreds x Garfield treats!!

The man himself, Ronnie Fieg, has done it again!

Nice Kicks X Asics Gel Lyte III..
I’ve posted a couple of other pairs that he has put his stamp on before.. but these are by far the best I’ve seen.
Released in September (before we started the blog), in a limited number, I doubt you’ll be able to find a pair now.. But definitely try!

It’s definitely getting close to that season again and these would be perfect!
I LOVE them!
