#AIRWEBREATHE

On Tuesday, I headed down to Covent Garden to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Nike Air Max. Over the years, that iconic little air bubble has been nested in the heel of some of the most innovative and beautiful trainers ever created – plus the Air Max 90 is the sneaker of choice on our Big Eyes banner! The event was a showcase of these very shoes, with the most famous silhouettes and colourways lining the hallway of the venue as you entered and UV lights enhancing the fresh white kicks on the podiums as well as on the feet of the guests.. Running with the slogan #AIRWEBREATHE, the decor included hospital breathing apparatus and mannequins with their vital organs replaced by Nikes and shoe laces. I was also given a Fuel Band, and I’m already addicted to it, running up and down the stairs at the end of the day if I haven’t made my target! Check out some photos of the night..

Summer of ’97

The weather has been really summery today and for some reason summertime always makes me think of Air Max 97s, so I think it’s the perfect opportunity to post these…

Nike Air Max 97 CVS Black & Sport Red

The Air Max 97 is such a simple, slick, classic silhouette and I love seeing updated versions. These particular beasts feature a block-coloured canvas base against a bright white midsole. Both the classic long air bubble unit and the heal branding are a Metallic Silver, which I think gives them a nice bit of femininity. Check out more pics below!

I can’t resist a black sneaker and these are no exception!

Next up, the Sport Red…

This red is sure to turn heads! Bright colours are perfect for sunny days and the red on red tongue branding and Swoosh keeps the shoe looking really neat and fresh.

Both of these kicks are availble from Titolo!

While we’re on the theme of summer and 97…

No Boys Allowed

I went to Amsterdam last week and of course made a trip to The Hague to visit No Boys Allowed and catch up with Cim.

So, here’s some pics!
Thanks for these Cim!
Nike WMNS Air Max ’97 ‘White/Glass Blue’

I’ve wanted these for a while now and luckily there was a pair for me waiting in the store. They’re such a fresh shoe for Summer and will look so good when the sun’s shining and the shorts come out! I love them! The glass blue sole, air unit and branding make this pure white ’97 stand out for miles.. There really isn’t too much that needs to be said about these as they totally speak for themselves!
To top it all off, I was lucky enough to have a NBA tee thrown in for me!
Thanks so much for everything Cim, I look forward to seeing you next time in London!
If you’re heading over that way (or live near by) take yourselves down to No Boys Allowed and say hi from me!

Titolo Tech

Now available at one of our favourite sneaker stores is this beast of a release.. just in time for the cold, wet months ahead of us!
Nike Air Max 97 VT ‘Midnight Fog/Midnight Fog/White’
I love the AM97 silhouette, it’s perfectly streamlined and the visible air unit is something I think always looks rad on a sneaker.
With the Vac Tech upper all one block colour, the white midsole makes the subtle ‘midnight fog’ fully stand out.
I’m still not 100% sold on the VT releases but there’s definitely something about this that calls to me! If only they were available in GS sizes, then I could try a pair on for myself.
Get yours NOW at Titolo.
