Lost In A Maize

I’ve never been thaaat big on the colour yellow. But recently there’s been an influx of yellow accents on Nike sneakers and I just can’t get enough. Among my favourite shades are Volt and Citrine yellow, but my number one has got to be the Varsity Maize yellow. Here are my favourite Varsity Maize colourways!

Next is the Air Jordan V Mickael Pietrus Warriors PE. You all probably know I love a Player Exclusive Jordan and this one is no excpetion. Made for Mickael Pietrus of The Gold State Warriors, if these are available for sale no doubt they’ll cost you an arm and a leg!

Last is my favourite of the bunch, the Nike Air Max 95 No Sew ‘Varsity Maize. A seamless Air Max 95?! These are sooo sick, but unfortunately not available until 2012. Be sure to keep it Big Eyes for updates!

The 2011 Air Jordan V Retro “Black/Varsity Red/Metallic Silver” drops THIS Friday 19th August!

The OG sneaker returns to celebrate its 21st birthday and is just as fresh as the original. The Jumpman logo on the bottom of the shoe has been updated from black to “Varsity Red”, the nubuck looks softer than ever and the clear sole makes it look as if you’re walking on ice! I’m in love!

Foot Patrol in London will be stocking sizes UK6 upwards, but when this drop hits retailers across the pond on Saturday 20th August, sizes will include GS, PS and Toddler so the whole family can get involved! Keep it Big Eyes for updates on the little sole releases!

So, this year you’ve had the Wolf Grey Jordan Retro V, but now, one of my favourite silhouettes is back with a wolf grey colourway.

Nike AM90 ‘Wolf Grey/Blue’



The white mesh perfectly offsets this understated AM90 release. The deep matt blue leather works perfectly against the wolf grey. For a sneaker with the potential to be lost in the crowd, these seriously stand out. They look so fresh!
