I’ve bought quite a few pairs of trainers recently so I thought I would share them with you;

Asics Gel Lyte III – I bought these from Hanon who currently have a really good sale on, and even have some Asics in women’s sizes. The speckled midsole and the split tongue (which prevents any sliding to the side) are my favourite features.

Nike AM95 Valentines Edition (2000) – I picked these up on eBay for a bargain price, and they were in pretty much perfect condition.

Nike Cortez Nylon – I recently went to WellGosh in Leicester and saw these, unfortunately they only had them in mens sizes. I was determined I would get them so I nipped into Nike Town where thankfully they had them in my size.

So the latest issue of FRONT MAGAZINE hit the shelves yesterday and boooooooy have they got a treat for you sneaker heads!

Valentines Kicks…..

So the International day of Luuuurv has arrived, and who said it has to be all about that special ‘person’? Why not appreciate your feet and love your kicks!

I spent all morning drinking hot water & lemon, looking at Valentine’s inspired kicks and listening to the DJ Kydro Show ‘Valentines Special’! Sounds like a pretty good start to the day right? To top it all off I’ll be loving my feet on the ramps later in my red skates tonight for the TNS (Tuesday Night Skate) @ UKSKATE in Stockport!

Amar Stewart who we interviewed a few months ago, is a lucky, lucky man.. find out why..

After waiting for over a month for these to drop on the David Z website which crashed on release date I was lucky enough to get hold of a pair.

Super minty fresh colour way and I’m finding it hard not to bust them but for now, they are keeping in the box.

I missed out on the salmon toes but they will be mine!…… oh yes, they will be mine.

Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel-Lyte III “Salmon Toe”

As I’m sure you know by now, we at Big Eyes are big fans of Ronnie Fieg’s Gel-Lyte IIIs. These “Salmon Toe” beauties are yet another pair added to my wishlist.

Dropping this Friday 30th September, the release coincides with the grand opening of Ronnie Fieg’s New York retail store, Kith.

Only 72 pairs will be available in store, and the first 40 of those will be sold with a Kith X Asics dogtag and t-shirt, in a commemorative box designed by Good Wood, priced at $200.

The remaining 32 pairs will come with dogtags and be sold at $130. The dope sneakers and t-shirts will also be available online at 11am (in NYY, so 4pm our time!), from KITHNYC.com

If you’re in New York this weekend check out the Kith store and try to get your hands on a pair of the Asics!

Strikes again, but this time in a very different way…

In his words – Aum Brand has teamed up with photographer Dorrell Merritt to present a solid collaboration featuring Karen Storey. The brief was simple. To create a vision of beauty and simplicity. We spent a full day shooting on various locations around London climbing over fences and driving all over London to get the perfect shots. The collection is a two part series so expect to see second drop around late summer.
