My good friend, Kara Messina is launching Y’OH Streetwear – her brand new menswear line tomorrow along side Verena Stefanie AKA Kids Of Grime, who will be showcasing her photography.
Here’s a little more about these two inspirational ladies!
Kara’s first collection for her brand Y’OH Streetwear, is entitled ‘Heads Ain’t Ready’. Kara has been in the high fashion section of the industry for 6 years now, working all over Europe as a pattern cutter. This collection however, is nothing like what she used to create, it’s both 90′s and grime inspired, consisting of outerwear, shirts and non-jersey tshirts. The fits are oversized and something seriously different from what we see available at the moment for the streetwear market. Her items will also be available on the Y’OH online store.
Next up, you’ll be able to see Kids Of Grime aka photographer Verena Stefanie’s first solo exhibition. Her work documents the grime scene and all those involved. This exhibition is like a time capsule, these photo’s truly represent where grime is going and what it’s doing at the moment.
